PUGET SOUND MARITIME HISTORICAL SOCIETY is on the
MOVE! |

►The
Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society,
along with other members of the
Pacific Northwest Maritime Heritage
Council and the maritime news
website Three Sheets Northwest,
have jointly launched the Northwest
Maritime Heritage site at
this location. The online
resource allows users to quickly find
all of the region's historic ships,
lighthouses, maritime museums, archives
and events to help them explore the
region’s nautical past.
►We are pleased to be partnering with
MOHAI in the development of the
Maritime
Gallery within MOHAI’s new museum at
South Lake Union. The grand opening is
scheduled for late 2012. Visit MOHAI’s
website for additional information.

of the move we are unable to
accept any donations of artifacts,
photographs, ephemera, etc. at this
time. The process of packing the
collection has begun and will take the
next six months to complete. Please

PLEASE NOTE!
The PSMHS
Research Library & Archives is moving!
With MOHAI, our partner organization, we
closed down our patron research
and photo orders on March 1, 2012
and patron research on
March 22, 2012 to pack for our
relocation. All ship plans are now
packed and are not accessible. We
apologize for any inconvenience. Our new
location will be announced in the coming
months and we hope to have our Maritime
Research Center open by late summer
2012.
