PUGET SOUND MARITIME HISTORICAL SOCIETY is on the MOVE!

Big changes are on the horizon!

We are pleased to be partnering with MOHAI in the development of the Maritime Gallery within MOHAI’s new museum at South Lake Union. The grand opening is scheduled for late 2012. Visit MOHAI’s website for additional information.

Our new PSMHS Maritime Research Center will be in Georgetown, a south Seattle neighborhood.  Along with MOHAI our partner organization, we are moving our entire organization in early 2012.  The packing has begun; researchers please note closure dates.

10-18-2011 Update - The 5"/51 Caliber Gun Mount commonly referred to as the "deck gun" could not be relocated to the park. Read about its new home HERE.

Because of the move we are unable to accept any donations of artifacts, photographs, ephemera, etc. at this time. The process of packing the collection has begun and will take the next six months to complete. Please contact Executive Director Karen Marshall at 206.324.1126 x 41 or admin@pugetmaritime.org  if you have questions.
