Bill Lightfoot2nd Vice PresidentPuget Sound Maritime Historical Society
Bill's seafaring days extend from young passenger on the Lake Washington side-wheeler Leschi on the Medina-Leschi run, to third mate on a Liberty Ship in the Pacific during the war, to a Tahiti ketch off Puget Sound's Admiralty Head (where he would still be if the auxilliary had stopped working.) He is a charter and continuing volunteer docent at our Chandler's Cove Maritime Museum Exhibit. Bill's writing career will soon produce the definitive work on submarines manufactured in the Pacific Northwest.
