Jim Kelly
Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society
Jim Kelly needs no introduction to long-time members and regular attendees of PSMHS programs. Jim continues to serve the Society as a core volunteer in the company of his wife, Phyllis. Together they continue to conserve, manage and make accessible our collection of over 50,000 maritime history photographs, activities for which they were honored at our meeting this past September. Jim' labors on behalf of PSMHS have for man years provided a critical boost to the ongoing planning for a maritime museum and the fundraising that will be critical to its success. Jim's management experience, contacts in the commercial fishing and shipbuilding industries and engaging personality continue to represent the Society well. Our webmaster would also like to add that he was one of the first board members to recognize the value of the Society's web site and Internet presence and without his leadership our website might not exist today. Those of us who work on the Society's web site are grateful for his unflinching support which has brought our message to an entirely new and much wider audience.
